A reboot is a complete change in direction... From Gameplay mechanics to character design... Kratos is still Kratos.
Tomb raider was a reboot. The character was changed... And so was the type of game.
I think the aim is to make the best game possible. Not necessarily to freshen as more of the same would not be bad for someone who never played the past games.
This is the devs simply taking a different approach. The combat looked to need slightly more work... Unless they intend for you to use finishers all the time.
Its a good idea because it gets the player closer to Kratos and story seems much more personal.
54 million Ps4 does not equal 54 million players... People rebuy consoles a lot. And they also buy limited editions.
The active users is more accurate to determine. But I wish they released active users for Xbox one only. And so should Sony.

Actually checkerboard rendering was used in quantum break. It was acceptable to Xbox fans then and it has always been.
It was not acceptable to Ps4 fans however when the Ps4pro was announced to be checkerboard in then it was acceptable.
So yea. Just clearing that up
People don't realize how many timed exclusives and permanent exclusives Playstation pays for. There's a lot more then people realize... There are very few benefits to releasing in only one console.

Usually you dont need to play them all to understand each individual entry.
But you would need to play all entries including the portable ones to understand the in depth story entirely.
Because they can't stand the fact that xbox gamers will get it.

They make double the sales or more by releasing multiplatform.
FF15 did sell on xbox.
There are thousands of wars and little skirmishes and battles that have taken place in history.
The majority are never ever mentioned or learned about even if they are super important in history.
I think its a great idea to explore all those unknown but important wars. A good way to educate people as long as they stick to primary resources...otherwise it could be educating people with false history.

Its both handheld and home console. That's why it's so great. Honestly it's a bit freaking big to be a handheld... It's more of a tablet then anythin.
So i guess if people view this as tablet sized portable console then so would the surface pro and iPad.

While demos used to be free. Many times demos where not the actual game.
And demos never let you keep your progress...that i can recall.
You also didnt get 25+ games for free with 5$ a month or 30$ a year.

Plus the "demo" carries over if you intended to play the game and you get a discount if you intended to buy the game.
