Current gen ideas applied to new gen architecture is like putting gas in an electric car. Both consoles have innovated their own path but one console is a bit different than current PC architecture. You have to think outside the box. And by box I mean the current way games are constructed on PC.
hmmm, very well could be.
Cheaters are something that PC games have never been able to shake. The very thing that makes PC games awesome with modding and having an open platform makes it a disaster for players abusing code and cheating.
Not a fan of Crossplay with PC.
Valve = 1st person shooters
By just me being here and writing this comment I am falling into the trap set by this reviewer, shock for more clicks. When every other review is miles from theirs it's pretty obvious what is going one.
This is the future, but not yet. I hate these articles.
I had a 1st Gen PS3 and not once slipped a PS2 disc into it. It's cool to have a museum at your fingertips but not sure if I'd visit it.
This wouldn't be so desperate and shitty looking if they had more exclusives announced. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have exclusive games on top of having 3rd party timed exclusives. Google rushed Stadia without investing artistically into games for their system. There needs to be a reason besides "Streaming platform" to make their product exciting. It's actually a bit sad because they have the money to invest in quality in-house developers but were slow in doing it. Typical...
Am I the only one lost with this discussion? It seems like a no brainer. When new phones come out they have more processing power and new features to make use of the power. Some new features only work on the new phone due to the new power. That's why you buy the new phone. Or else you just keep using the old phone.
I'm still on the fence on whether this is a step forward or a mistake. Exited people in one place with cameras showing their reactions can be a huge hype explosion. It's something to gauge. Otherwise it's just in the cloud and owned be virtual trolls and fanboys.
lol. true.
This info is...
1) ...not 100% qualified because both next gen systems still have unknown capabilities.
2) ...from an indie developer that doesn't focus the slightest on visuals. (ei:underwhelming graphics)
3) ...clickbait for a time when info about next gen systems is scarce.
grain of salt journalism
Bloody ridiculous. Since the dawn of time games have borrowed or copied great ideas or designs from popular games, especially exclusive titles. Gamers want to play games on their platform, not everyone has or wants a switch so here is an alternative. Baby.
I think its funny there are equal articles about Nintendo dominating 2019 and wide spread joy-con problems.
The surprise is that people thought crossplay woulldn't have this problem. Ei: Why some companies don't want this on their system.
Incredible graphics on PC's, but still prefer consoles. Just me. :)
Soon everything will be streamed. Spending large amounts on hardware will be a thing of the past. The $$$ will go to services. Love it or hate it, things will eventually go that way.
hmmmm. Click bait.
If it doesn't sell the first time because no one bought the last console, throw it on a console that is selling well. A bit bitter sweet. Just not sure why it took this long to be ported.
Emulation of copyrighted content is definitely illegal, especially roms. With the popularity of retro gaming being mainstream you will see more and more lawsuits happening. It is obviously seen as money lost to game companies especially now. Can't see this making it to the Xbox one. If it does it wont last.
...you could also build a coffin. They are pricey too.
