My 1st JRPG encounter was when I rented Dragon Warrior on the NES when it just came out, loved the boxart, I remember being so confused about a game that you fight with words, so every time we saw a JRPG, me and my friend we were like, ohh it's one of those games that you fight with words. It wasn't until the SNES era that I fell in love with them. I'm currently playing Resonance of Fate.
