@ Agent: Ok, forget the hype, do you realize that LBP is a game mostly done with a dev team of about 30-40 people, which means it didn't have a humongous budget to begin with, which means they don't need to sell that many copies to rake in the profits. For example let's say a movie comes out with a 20 million budget and makes 35 million at the box office, a 15 million profit would not be considered a flop, but a 100 million dollar movie comes out and makes 110 million, a 10 million profit wou...
:)
We can say Home is a flop or not after the one year anniversary in my opinion.
Your Wipeout HD platinum>my Burnout & Dead Space platinum :(
Yea, Warhawk is insanity even after they lower the difficulty to get some of them. They should add which Platinums & Gold trophies you have on the profile card without needing to go the compare route.
Any links to the achievement sound?
Any of u weak asses can add me Gambit07.
The only thing keeping me from buying this game is the lack of trophy support and I know that's not correct, specially for such a niche title that deserves support, but atm I got too many games that I'm playing that support trophy and unfortunately I've become addicted to them :(
Comparing a CGI video to actual gameplay goes to show just how far videogames have come along, also the whole CGI trailer controversy has really benefited the game, it gave it tons of coverage, so releasing it was a stroke of genius from Sony.
Damn, the transformations are 5 times your size, looks a bit strange with tiny people running around your feet.
Very tempting.
I got Dead Space & Burnout Plats, even though on Burnout I'm only at 89% complete, because you don't need the expansion trophies to unlock the Plat. Now, I'm going for Pacific Rift & LBP Plat. I gave up on the Warhawk one, you would need to spend serious hours with that game.
I'm betting Sony will run TV ads for Infamous.
I don't think EyePet will be a sleeper hit, because it will be heavily marketed, which I'm guessing, when it comes out during the holiday '09.
Hopefully it will be a fanboyism killer and unite all gamers, well I can dream.
Dude, this is the game that a lot of 360 owners will get a PS3 for, don't make them feel unwelcome.
I recently got MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and I must say, it kicks so much ass, it's not even funny, if you like arcade racers it's a must.
That's pretty high compared to other reviews...
I think the way it works is, whenever reviewers are done early with a game AND give it a good score, the publisher will let it go public. That's why bad reviews usually pop up around the time the game is actually being released, because the publisher can have the review wait until the release date.
Only publishers know if a game is a flop, nobody else.
