Good score but not good enough. For 10 yrs in the works Infinite unfloppery should not be getting any lower than a 9.7 IMO.
The Battlefield lineup games really did some revolutionary advances in FPS gaming, from the multiplayer archetypes to vehicle uses in game, Halo made some important steps in the FPS genre in the consoles, the FPS was dominant on PC but I have to admit that Halo was the pioneer of the FPS consoles. Maybe it didn't contribute to anything new to the genre but it did to the consoles, but to the genre I consider the Battlefield line as the most important contributor and yes, Goldeneye was the peak...

I admit it's going to be an awesome game but its not FF anymore, just like resident evil is not a survival horror anymore the final fantasy brand is slowly becoming another kind of franchise
bring back the FF series to its roots, make again that Medieval Gothic game style that defined the series, it's simply sad to see how they make the series some kind of "fast food" emblem
