Even with the ps3 being lead platform no doubt it'll have poorer framerate, delays, lower res, need for constant patches, higher price.
and thats if the ps3 survives the countless firmware updates to solve the previous update that bricked the console once you got it back from sony after the last update bricked it, ylod, code of death, faulty BD drive.

MGS2 obviously sold better on the ps2, look at the ps2 install base compared to the xbox and how much longer did it take to come out on the xbox?

You can use the fact it's slightly slower for games even though it took longer for 98 to match 95 and xp to match 98.
I use vista and xp on two different comps and it's mostly vist...
Blu-ray and standard don't go together in a sentence.
They only had the biggest year on year increase because their first year was so poor.

Er the arcade is targeted at kids and families so they don't need a hdd as they get a memory card.

Of course I'm not a ps3 fan and still play GC, xbox and most of the old machines on emulators the ps2...

In the uk you can get around £20 off ($40) from pre-owned.
They should sell games at around £20 and that would severely reduce the amount of pre-owned being sold.
Dvd's are £10-15 cd's are... I don't know. Have't bought a cd in years but it used to be £12 whereas games are £40-50? Even more if its on the ps3.

The ps2 only went to £129 just before the ps3 came out. Remember sony showing europe love by releasing it 6months after it came out in america.
If it took that long for the ps2 to get close to £100 it would be a bold and very smart move for ms to drop the 360 price to £100 now but they wont. ...

I have thought what games on the 360 would be like if they had the same 4 yr development cycle that certain ps3 games have?
If ff13 gets released close to the time it takes to translate the ps3 version and it matches up almost to perfectly then we'd have our answer.
