Yup that is my take too. Game pass is for trying games I would not normally play if I had to buy them. It has a lot of gems.

And yet xbox has the best console, console FPS, 3rd person shooter, sim racer, arcade racer, RTS, Metroidvania and the best online infrastructure, best controller and with gamepasa the best value for money gaming EVER. Yeah who would want access to hundreds of games for a small monthly fee when most people only buy a few games per gen. I mean the PS2 with the current record for attach rate only had an attache rate of around 10 games per console life cycle
