They dont need to become the same company. But why not work together to create a standard.
MP3 worked on Ipod, zunes and Sony players there was still competition between them the consumer could choose what was the besy device for the content bought but could also change their mind and take thier content with them
Yeah its hilarious. Would it not make more sence for the main guys to come together and make a format similar to what happens with DVD and Blu-ray. They all go off and make their devices as they do now with their own features but they can all play all the games it would be so much better for the consumer. Then we all jump to tge next format tge same way we jumped from VHS to DVD to BLu-ray to 4K blu ray

Devs have to waste resources on multiple different versions of the same game making it more expensive, meaning they are willing to take less risks hencen we get endless sequels with minor tweeks between iterations.
Yeah would be horrible to have to just buy one device but have access to all games.
I mean it was horrible that when you wanted to watch a dvd or a blu ray you could do it on a Sony device or a Samsung device or any device that played dvds just horrible. It would have been so much better if instead of DVD we had 7 or 8 different competting movie formats at the same time and we needed all 7 to be able to watch all movies

Yeah I would rather both the PS5 and next xbox be a little more expensive but be an actual decent leap over current gen.
PS4 and X1 were no where near tge improvement we seen from OG X and PS2 to 360 and PS3.

Man the combat and game mechanics were weak and repetitive, we get it she cant swim oh look a pallet. I found the combat kinda annoying and a chore to get through, it was everything else that got me through to the ending which I loved, there were some very memorable moments where the game really shined. What made the game stand out for me was the story, dialogue and voice acting. If they improve the actual gameplay to match the quality of the dialogue and voice acting TLOU2 has actually a goo...
This game looks pretty cool
