I love LBP (can't wait for LBP2) and the MNR demo was cool, so I'll probably pick that up soon....but I hate that Sony seems to get all the credit and positive press for their "Play, Create, Share"...and MS gets NO CREDIT for XNA and XBLIG.

Alpha Protocol turned to sh1t because the majority of Obsidian went to work on Fallout:NV well over a year ago. The flunkies were left to try and finish the game, rather than cancel it, with the extra year's delay...but failed miserably.
Fallout:NV will be awesome.

...to what devs can do with aging hardware. MS has released a couple key updates that included DirectX improvements. The 360 was DX9-based at launch. Games like Metro 2033 and Alan Wake show some of the new effects that are now possible, given the added DX11-like features. Of course, including those effects can hurt overall performance, like tearing, framerate drop, and lower resolution...but overall the graphical improvements make it worth it.
Sony/PS3 doesn't HAVE anything like XBLIG. PERIOD. So how is switching from 360 to PS3 an option/solution exactly??
