So you didn't expect this slump? When the 3DS was announced everyone thought its sales would soar through the roof, particularly when Nintendo announced Metal Gear and Resident Evil were going to be on the platform. Many people thought that the 3DS was going to eat into Sony's userbase.
The slower than expected sales (which is why this drastic price cut is happening) are not what peopled expected. Nintendo did this out of necessity, not because they are being nice. ...
I think Vita will be fine. It will provide a wider range of games available than Sony could offer on the PSP.
I think there is more to it than that. The NGP will do the powerful games again, but it will also be able to do DS games and mobile phone games. It really is an all in one device.
It doesn't do 3D, but it can do DS games. Even better probably, because you don't technically need to get in the way of the screen to interact with it while using touch.
Until Nintendo announces something along the lines of PlayStation Suite, the 3DS will not be able to do...
Indeed. Sony did not store the CVV2 codes.
I love the look of this. I'd love more games like this on PSN/XBLA.
Indeed. Its just a shame that the government won't give decent tax breaks. The UK is losing out to places like Canada.
7 million isn't very much at all considering the sheer amount of UK based studios.
I actually really like those ads. The last one is awesome.
That says a lot about EA's marketing department.
It is more of an experience than a game. Feeling one with the environment, causing musical cues, painting the landscape with light and bringing colour back to the world after the greys of the cityscape had encroached upon the natural environment etc are all great aspects of Flower. Its different and its great because of those differences.
Delaying the game is absolutely the right thing to do. Sony will be fine as they have many games seeing release this year.
My heart goes out to everyone affected by the recent events in Japan. Absolutely horrific news.
You've all been trolled. Click the link. Its just clever Dragon Age 2 marketing.
Very harsh article. Everyone who wants to try something different or change an established system is always mocked. I say good luck to the guy for trying to make games that appeal to a more emotionally mature audience. The industry needs more people like David Cage.
They never said it would rival PS3 performance. They did however remark that games will look quite close to PS3 games visually.
I'm certainly more interested in this game than I was in the first. Looks good.
I'm not convinced either. The lack of platforming is a big problem.
Its good they are marketing it, but Channel 5 has the lowest viewing figures of all of the terrestrial channels. :(
Are you paying for it? Because everyone in the UK pays a TV licence fee to fund the BBC.
True. This does allow them to use 'exclusively in HD' though.
Too many games next year.
So when he said 'First, since the launch of Nintendo 3DS, one of the things we have learned is that it has taken longer than we had originally expected in order for the appeal of this product to widely spread. We feel that those who have experienced the system appreciate its attraction, but this appreciation has not necessarily been expanding at the speed which we had expected.' he didn't actually mean that its been selling slower than he expected?
I think you nee...
