Maybe i'm just lucky but...
The only system I've ever had completly stop working one me is the original NES and even it lasted well past it's lifespan. I have all the latest gen systems and haven't had any serious problems just a couple of freezes on 360 and ps3 and controller sync on ps3. None of these a persisted though even though I have the earlist model of all of them exept maybe the Wii (it was hard to get.)
Remnant makes its sound like it could be connected to FFVII. Maybe they added it to have a title on the DS too?
Maybe its just me, but that area looked very similar to the first area of Metal Gear Solid.
It reminded me of blue dragon.
