I completely agree, it’s such a stupid article with very stupid reasoning because like you said, when they announced Wii U ports coming to Switch, they clearly stated that it was port from an existing game. There was a writer at IGN that wrote a similar article yesterday, but I guess that port idea is floating now thru the net. Very stupid way of thinking that even writers don’t even know how to distinguish a port announcement from a new game teaser from Nintendo.
I hope this time they include a cinema mode. The original one was missing that mode badly.
I completely agree, with the S being a great upgrade I don’t see the need for this system. I believe it’s next gen material.
Apple has nothing to do with it. Even if it's true, that has been Nintendo business model for years. They always create this kind of artificial scarcity so people desire their systems even more. One of these days that old tactic is gonna backfire on them. Love Nintendo to death but I hate their way of doing business.
Same thing happened to me twice, game on my cart and when I hit pay, it was already sold out. I unfollowed them from Twitter, I won't buy a game from them ever, anyway, I'm not a fan of indies, the only reason I followed them was because of Night Trap.

You forgot to add in the article that you not only have access to VC on the Wii U eshop, but also you have access to the the Wii Shop Channel thru the Built in Wii emulator on the Wii U. I can't believe nobody has written about that. The Wii has the best VC library. That's the added value of the Wii U, you have two different platforms and 2 VC in one system.
What can I say, it's what Nintendo always does, they artificially create this type of scarcity, it happened with the Wii, most recently the NES Classic, is what they do, and they will continue to do so until this tactic backfires on their face...
