March is way too crowded, so I'm kinda glad that this is coming a little later. Still though, disappointed that it's taken so long for this game to come out.
@1.4 - I agree that the graphics are not a huge improvement on Tekken 5, but I do not agree with your other statement. I'm a huge fighting game fan, and Tekken has the most fluid and best fighting system by far.
You guys can say what you want, I've been a launch PS3 owner, and the first game I had was Resistance 1. Played it for months due to the fantastic multiplayer, imo Insomniac messed up the multiplayer in Resistance 2 because there was literally no difference in ability between the Humans and Chimera.
In the first game the Humans could run forever and the Chimera could run/see through walls for a few seconds. It was simple, and perfect. In R2 every perk was available for both races...
I got it from Sainsbury's for PS3, it was too cheap to pass up (only £26!).
And yeah, everybody expected the 360 version to outsell the PS3 version 2:1, it would be more shocking if it didn't.
@talltony - THANK YOU. I've been saying that for a while, I like the 360 controller, and it is very good for shooters, but the sticks are not as precise as the PS3 controllers. I mainly had an issue with this on Halo 3, and was just after I had played Resistance 1. I noticed that Resistance 1 just controlled way more accurately than Halo 3, especially during sniper firing.
Would be interesting to see a Ubisoft RPG actually.
R1 - Great multiplayer, great graphics, boring singleplayer
R2 - Great single player, good graphics (too colourful), good co-op, bad multiplayer.
Mix and match from both games and hopefully R3 will be amazing.

If Call of Duty was exclusive, it would be a major plus for PS3. But if it were PS3-Exclusive, it would have gotten treated as badly as a PS3 exclusive. It would be getting very little perfect scores, and every xbox only owner would be saying "Halo is better" or "COD sucks."
This can't be right can it? I mean ODST must have sold a lot more than that, I would expect millions on the first day (if going by Halo 3 sales).

@1.8 - Correction Soda, I don't troll, I give my opinion on 360 news, and most of the time it is positive. EXCEPT for Natal news, I have said it since it was announced, I am not buying into the hype for it, unless MS show me ONE core game that I want. Then I'll buy it if it is cheap.

If it is English subtitles on the Japanese release of the game, that would be awesome. I'd definitely import it, but I doubt it. Most likely it's just a release date announcement I'm guessing.

I guess this confirms that the announcement is to do with EU more than NA. Also nothing huge for Xbox fans (who may be thought it was that Japanese 360 owners getting FF13 as well)

They need to show the damn games before I buy into the hype, show at least one core game MS. Knowing MS, this will come out in November 2010, just so that they can try and win the holiday season, the same thing they did this year, which meant we had pretty much no games to play until October :(
This will affect AC2 sales, because it has no online, people will pirate it. I don't think it will affect L4D2 sales as much because online is so integral to the game.
