Well I firmly believe that a majority of people over in the US will see through the MS BS and join the rest of the world in supporting the PS4 regardless of some misguided patriotic allegiance to the Xbone!

With M$ in crises control and so many 180's the new head of Xbox Gaming would probably desire a clean sheet and get her idea of the Xbox out at a later date rather then risk a catastrophic early launch!
Why? Recent M$ 180's would suggest anything is possible from Xbone HQ!
XBone has lost the pre launch race by miles so why bust their hump getting it out this year when they can can nail down exactly what the console will be after all the recent 180's
I reckon people with an addictive personality would find it easier to get hooked on games alot easier than those whom have not! I would classify myself as having an addictive personality but I would channel it into games rather than more destructive outlets!
Some people just get a stronger sense of reward from playing video games than others!
