The point is that not many people will be keeping hold of there old consoles, a lot of people will have to use their console as part of the trade in. Not everyone is able to buy an expensive piece of hardware out right these days. People have less money these days.
Hmm not many people can afford to buy the console straight up as stated in the article and also it is a lot closer this time in terms of games, There's gonna be games that get released next year on current gen that people who couldn't afford to buy the next gen console outright and had to put there current gen console towards to purchase won't be able to play and will miss out but if BC is included then they will have the opportunity to grab hold, Not to mention GTA5. Gamer's can still hope i suppose lol
Me too!
Good article pal, Keep the retro stuff coming :)
I find it funny that you got so many disagree's just for expressing your point of view lol.
Been playing the game a lot now since Tuesday and once you get over the graphics/audio and AI (Which will only get better through patches)i find the game to be excellent, Seeing as it's the first proper MMO on the 360 (Not counting TDU 1/2)It is fun, engaging, addictive and definitely makes you want to come back for more, i especially like the massive grouping of players when trying to smash the crystals and kill the giant alien host bug thingy..i cant wait till the show starts.....loving...
lol
Nah
I've just bought it today and ploughed through it for a few hours and I do find it to be awesome....it can only get better in my opinion.
Seeing as just above the score it says first impression score 8/10 I think the reviewer is valid, how else are you supposed to score an MMO really? When it is basically an ever evolving game. You would have to review the game every couple of Months.
Crystal Dynamics :)
The article is about what the consoles have done not that they are dead, that is why the title reads "This is not goodbye, more of a job well done" It was not intended to spark an outrage, only to salute the individual achievements of each one. Even though there is still life left in the 360 and PS3 this year is still the start of a brand new generation and the start of the end of the current one.
Classic!!! :P
:D I know what you mean but it's always the same when new hardware is on the horizon and I don't think it will ever change, There's got to be an element of truth within it all somewhere :)
This article has appeared on N4G twice before!!
What makes me laugh is that people say Microsoft are going to block used games and require all games to be installed onto the hard drive and then be played off said hard drive no longer needing optical support, Why on earth would Microsoft include an optical drive to only install content and then the need for that drive ends, It would be a waste of a drive and also an added cost that is not needed. Surely it would be more affordable to have something like an SD card slot that can be used for ...
@zbg31610: Haha I was thinking the same thing lol...Nevermind eh!! :)
Personally XBOX Next/720 etc for me.
