Way too expensive for the content it offers at €30. I'm perfectly fine with what the base game already has.

Sounds interesting and much cheaper than GeForce Now.
Anyone who uses it can tell how performance is on this service? Any queues on the premium tier? How does it compare to NVidia's?

It's almost a third of the price, so I'm afraid it might be too good to be true.

If it was a Ubisoft game, they'd be saying it fell short of sales expectations. That's their problem, though. They have unrealistic expectations. But then again, if this was a Ubisoft game, it wouldn't be as good.

In my opinion, it's because the gaming industry grew so big that games are mostly crap nowadays. Unfinished, bloated and repetitive open worlds, overpriced... The list goes on...

These days, developers and publishers cater to shareholders, not gamers. Back when gaming was a niche market, developers took more risks, had more creativity.

Gaming had its peak in the PS3/360 era. Since then, it's been downhill.

They do have three main studios doing each game in rotation, so each studio takes 3 years to build one.
I get what you're saying about multiplayer, but it's not like last years COD dies after the new one comes out.
I still play other CODs regularly and, at least the previous five or six games, still have a good playerbase.

For what it's worth, this year's COD is one of the best since the PS3/360 era. They had an extra year as that shows in ...

Someone actually knows how it works. And then, they call us racists, because that's the only argument they can make. Only blind people don't see what's going on.

This is what happens when a studio is given enough time to make a game. They had an extra year to polish it.
And man, the multiplayer is so, so good. The movement and gunplay is the best in years, probably the best since the PS3/360 era.

It goes both ways, man. People will always show bias towards their plastic box of choice.
Good thing I have both :D

I've always wondered that myself. They're two completely different types of players.

I loved tackling the leaderboards. It's a shame they couldn't even keep them.

Yeah, the mods don't like "diversity" in the comments.

The difference is that Tomb Raider always had a female protagonist from the beginning. Here, they changed it. If it's an agenda or not, people will decide that when they consider buying it.

Better start saving for the PS6 now, because I have a feeling it will be €1000 when it comes out.

If you want to blame the Series S for holding back the game industry, you should also blame the devs still developing for PS4/Xbox One after 4 years into this generation. There's plenty of blame to throw around...

Games like these don't sell PS5s. They should focus on games that people buy a console for, and we all know what games are those.

People should be hired based on merits. Doesn't matter if they're from a minority or not. But, it's not how many companies are hiring these days. They just want to click some checkboxes.
