i changed my mind and bought bioshock.. i love it!!
i really got the impression that he wasn't too fond of the game. He pointed out more flaws than anything else. Then he closes his review with another flaw then says check it out???
im confused...
IGN's review is the complete opposite..
all i have to say is that this statement has finally brought the PS3 fanboys and 360 fanboys together and they can finally agree on something!!!
and treyarch is smoking some good stuff if they think they are going to top R2 and Gears2..
haha maybe next time..
eh i couldn't really care, i got bored with this game fast and had no real reason to continue playing, plus i got rid of it
however its good for us PS3 owners to see the continued support by devs
now i really want to rebuy uncharted to get the trophies that game was actually fun
too bad they haven't dropped the price
well this is highly disappointing, i guess ill rent it now to see if there are real glaring problems. There are way too many games that have been released recently and coming out this holiday that deserve my money as opposed to lame ports.
last holiday was all 360, this holiday is all about the PS3 games!!!
they have an unmatched lineup!!!
wheres home!!?
regardless of what was the right thing to do, it's such a shame that this whole debacle had to take place.
Especially considering the fact, that this game probably is Sony's biggest heavy hitter to date on the PS3.
Hopefully, this won't affect the popularity or sales of the game.
edit: Why did I get disagrees?!?!?
I own a PS3, but personally, I would love to see both consoles succeed. Competition is always healthy!!
Microsoft has definitely pushed Sony to step up their game, which is only a good thing.
IMO, its definitely the best time to own either console, with the PS3 finally getting their fair share of awesome exclusive IPs and awesome ports/multiplatform games.
haha its like the main featured news article on yahoo.com as well
if anything this probably has been a great PR move by Sony, which will only increase sales....
i think
either way.. day one purchase for me!!!
Kudos to 2k!!!!
Man, I just got rock band 2 and NBA2k9, I reserved LBP, Resistance 2, and Fallout.
How am I going to afford all these great games!?!
btw, everyone should really check out deadspace, EA really did a fantastic job.
But, Bioshock would have definitely been a day one purchase if it was a lower price, but I'll probably still give it a rental.
I absolutely loved the demo. It peaked my interest enough to want to check it out tomorrow; however, I wish they would have lowered the price to $39.99, considering all things: it has been out for a year already and its cheaper on the PC and 360.
thats pretty sad
What is there to admit? Ok, so someone else is having problems?
But I haven't. The only time my PS3 froze was once during CoD4.
who approves this garbage???
I own a launch 60 gig PS3 and have never experienced one problem. GTA IV has been working great thus far!!!
No freezing either!
brand loyalty exists because 99% of people on this planet can only afford to support one system. Having said that, it is only natural for brand loyalty to exist when you look at it from that perspective. If I could afford to have 2 next gen gaming systems I would gladly support both, but in the meantime I'll support my PS3. * Don't mistake fanboyism with brand loyalty. They are two very distinct things.
watch, I bet us PS owners are going to have to buy another P.O.S. guitar to play this game
i can hardly contain my excitement OWowoOWO
personally it looks like someone droppped the contrast/brightness of the PS3 version because its way too dark IMO.
Either way i won't be getting this game on any console or PC. As a side note, a PC should most definitely look better than a console especially when you have to spend a decent amount of money to setup a decent gaming rig. I mean the 360 version looks absolutely great and you can get a 360 for $199.
This whole fiasco started with Half Life 2 for me. ...
