Exactly. They are just shooter games with a couple of jumps. FEAR was scarier than those.
I can't wait. I still need to play Guerrilla though
It's like minesweeper, but with more awesomeness and much less gray. Stay tuned for a review!
Smaller sites generally have better reviews. They aren't influenced at all or pressured from the outside. You're better off getting unbiased opinions from the smaller places.
I haven't played Halo since 2, but this looks to be worth the admission price alone. I think I definitely will pick this up when I get some money.
Reminds me a lot of "Total Overdose." I think this will be a keeper :)
I really hope they do something very unique with this one
Kratos should definitely be Number One :)
All platforming AI is ridiculous. It's the same routines over and over again; that's why they are so hard!
I wish every three month period could be this great for PC gaming!
I feel that the ps3 will have to drop game prices to $50 and the system itself to $200 or less to actually compete successfully with the 360. God of War III will definitely help, but it won't be enough, especially with every Halo or GTA which releases exclusively for the 360.
Keyboard and mouse = win. For future reference!
good show
The list is okay.....for console fans. What about PC games? Commander Keen needs a remake! King's Quest could use a Telltale remake, and I'd be willing to bet that they're all over it as we speak.
PC classics have been around far longer than the Zeldas and Marios. A true, single-player Ultima remake would be fantastic, as would a Wing Commander sequel (a series reboot would utterly destroy the magic of III and IV).
Great article by the way!
My thoughts have always been: Video games most certainly improve mental health, but they do nothing to improve physical health, which is mostly more important.
Great read though!
Has anyone else played Hearts III? I can't pry myself away. I hope the next one is updated to modern day, like CoD4 was. That would be incredible.
I still have Curse and Escape sitting right here. How do the new ones stack up to the old classics?
HA!!! Not even close sir. TF2, CSS, and even BF2 are far better, not to mention the Halos.
It isn't. Maybe he's referring to D&D or all the text within the game, or maybe there was a novelization of the game? (I know "the infernal city" comes out in november)
I haven't played any of the Silent Hill games. Are they they good? or is it nostalgia speaking? I still have RE4 for PS2 sitting on my shelf, never played. I should definitely pop it in.
