Oh and just because something has moving parts doesn't mean it's going to break down before you'd want to replace it anyway (in say 3-4-7 years). In electronics, if a product last pasts 1 year, it isn't likely to need repair until the expected life of the product is over or nearly over.

While I agree, most of the games in the their top 25 are some of the best for the PSOne, they really missed a lot of games that were equal to or better than the ones they put in their "top" 25.
Most notable omissions:
Legacy of Kain, Valkyrie Profile(or am I alone on this one?), Xenogears(Probably the most notable omission in my mind), Parasite Eve (I and/or 2)

So what the author is saying, is that we should ignore that Master Chief, Altair, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Lara Croft and multiple other new IP (intellectual property) mascots have been created, but since Mario and Sonic have been around a long time, we shouldn't like enjoyable/well developed (a qualifier only, I'm not saying all their games are well developed) games that feature them anymore?

Well, I don't like paying for online, I'd rather spend that money and buy another game or 2 or 3.
I don't want a 360 until they stop blowing up, and only if they get some games I want. I bought my PS3 for FF and MGS. I don't want to play Halo...or Halo...or Halo...(or other FPS's)
And I don't like the GTA games.
So I'll stick with my PSWii for now. (Especially since they don't blow up)
Unless of course you count most of the games on the 360...
There are very FEW games that run at above 30 fps on the console, and most of the "1080" games aren't even 1080...
Heck, it's not even possible to play it on 360, so of course it wouldn't happen.

What makes it worse, is that it's not even a blog article, it's an actual article on the site.
Further, how do we even know that was Haze? He didn't show enough actual gameplay to even tell it what game it was, let alone enough gameplay to "prove" that it's going at 30 fps.
