I like Mark Wahlberg but can't picture him as Nathan Drake.
Honestly thought this was going to be a disaster. Very glad it turned out well. Definitely going to pick this up!
The announcement made me tear up a little bit -- few games have the power to do this. Thrilled to see Ellie and Joel back and can't wait to re-visit that world. Naughty Dog would only create a sequel if there was a story worth telling!
There's been rumours of this... Would absolutely adore a Bloodborne 2 announcement!
The Last Of Us 2 announcement, some footage for U4 SP DLC, a new AAA VR "killer-app" and a bunch of great looking indie games for ps4/Vita/VR will make it feel like christmas has come early. Oh, and I love it when the say "available now" a la Nuclear Throne and Bastion. Can't wait!
Hallelujah!
Great list -- It's been a terrific year for FPS fans.
Yep, Ninty should focus 100% on Switch -- I'm sure 3DS can survive for a couple of years with 3rd party support a la the Vita.
Really disliked the first one -- but this looks more up my street! Great review.
Let me start by saying this: The PS4 is an amazing console-- I adore it.
Even tho Sony are in front it doesn't mean that they can't improve on some aspects of their platform.
I'm not bashing the console, I'm just looking at some aspects Sony would be wise to look at/improve upon going forward...
Like I said, I agree with you for the most part...
Playing devils advocate: Couldn't Sony just save all that money and put it into making an even better/more powerful kick ass ps5 that comes out in a few years that is significantly better?
Don't get me wrong, I'll get a pro. But I never thought while playing Uncharted 4 on a OG PS4 -- this game needs to look better, this looks bad... you know what I mean
You're right, Sony are focusing on both. What I meant was that the resources used to launch ps4 pro could've been used elsewhere and they could've just threw everything at the original ps4.
It's all good. Hopefully games won't get extra delays due to the new hardware, or are unoptimized for one console or the other etc.
I wasn't as down as most people in regards to the Pro. For the price, it's a really decent piece of kit.
I do wish Sony just focused 100% on the OG ps4, but ce la vie. Definitely want to pick one up soon tho after pulling the trigger on PS VR the Pro is a harder pill to swallow atm. Come on, Sony. I'm not made of money!
I'm super enjoying the Infinite Warfare capaign a lot more than I thought I would. Definitely one of the best COD campaigns so far.
I've been super impressed with the campaign -- action trucks along at a good clip, and the story feels really well put together. Probably the best campaign since Black Ops.
Always good to see a new vita game announced:)
It's got a handful of rough edges, but there is definitely the seed of something great in there. Hope you enjoy it!
Not usually a BF guy but I think I'm gonna pick this up -- the WW1 setting sounds refreshing!
It's a shame 'cause I was super pumped for The Last Guardian... 5+ years ago. Really, really hope it's at least a good game, but I have the feeling that critics will be extra harsh on it and a 2016 audience won't be happy with it either. Hope I'm wrong.
Intrigued by COD (Naughty Dog dudes are writing the story) and Battelfield 1. Titanfall 2 beta was a bit meh. Mafia 3 might be a sleeper hit. Wish Horizon: Zero Dawn was this year but cest la vie!
Being a fan of video games can be frustrating at times. Say you spent the weekend watching sports, for example, and the average person will say "cool". But say you spent your weekend hanging out playing video games and they look at you like you've got two heads.
