I’d rather spend a 1000$ on a console than whatever’s the amount on a pc just so i dont have to deal with windows. A 700$ console is dedicated for gaming, no windows bloat eating up into your performance, also games are designed with consoles in mind, they take full advantage of fixed specs.
I don't even buy physical media anymore, i don't know anyone who does, the majority of sales come from digital. Its just old farts screeching for now but they'll accept the eventuality of digital only consoles.
