but those companies you named are also allowed to develop for there competition when you don't make legal contracts. Im sure sony would have loved to have seen Final Fantasy 3 on there psp, but instead it was developed for its only competitor the ds.
Obviously its a bargain for the game developers. Half the cost of the other next gen consoles, yet can still sell the game for $50.
