I like shorter games as opposed to say many JRPGs that tend to drag on for an entire week.
Examples? All the valkyria chronicles games and God Eater Series takes a stupidly long amount of time to finish.
Having shorter games is very nice for people like me who have very less time to play games.

Mario Odyssey has like 9million(probably 10 now) views, shows how much hype the game has. Being a system seller as it is, the Switch will sky rockets and have long legs

That is kinda true.
On a business perspective it can only benefit both the consumers and the devs because the audience are different and don't affect sales on either platform which translates to more sales and success for the game.
But on the perspective of PS4, the sales of the system will be slightly affected if an exclusive game or two gets released on PC, less sales of PS4 less benefit for Sony. And PC master race will go "hahahaha PS4 has no exclusiv...
