Sony needs to dump there tv business and sell the Bravia plants. The Sony tvs are overpriced and have the worst picture quality compared to the mid line samsung and LG sets
I'm a former hi end audio video salesman and did some professional video testing on the SonyXBR sets and it revealed that those tvs have the worst video scalers for the price you pay. You would be better off buying a cheaper tv and purchase a high quality video scaler separately
The video game industry will be more profitable you will see more projects and less studios closing. It will be the end of on line game rentals and trade ins that is raping the industry of it's dollars.

@ below you can't buy every game that comes out. some of these games are going to suffer insoles due to top triple A third party titles that will hit the shelves at the same time.

For those who wants to turn there head and ignore this. These losses will affect all of Sony divisions. It has already has started in the gaming division when Sony are closing studios that aren't profitable Zipper, Bigbig and possibly Evolition. This may affect the launch of the ps4.

With these losses expect Sony credit rating to fall agin. It will be hard for Sony to get any type of investors in the gaming division. This is whyni was telling folks that Sony is not putting a lot of money into research developement into the ps4. They don't have funds and investors aren't taking risks with Sony.

Ubisoft and MS had a deal if the 360 gamers bought SC Conviction they would get the exclusive beta but now the beta will be available on all platforms at the same time. I don't know this may be false advertising by Ubisoft and MS and needs to be brought to attention.

This is one of the reasons why I haven't renewed my subscription to xbox live with them increasing fees and further monetizing it's service. I recently got an email from MS begging me to renew my subscription. XBL is an awesome service but not worth it with all the additional fees.
