Christ sakes dude if you know anything about gaming tech you'll know that it is developed by MS.
You can get alot of performance out of a full customized system versus an off the shelf PC system.
Well of course Sony is going to deny it it would be bad PR if they said there are overheatinng issues. You have to wonder why their aren't ps4 visible to the public.

The API was design with Microsoft to replace Directx on PC games. AMD worked with Microsoft on every version with Mantle. This interview with an AMD engineer explains everything.
