The message has already been sent to the 360 hardcore gamers...MS reall y pushing third party games this year to support the 360. This guy is doing nothing but a damage control sell job because these feeble announcements does nothing for the Hardcore gamers we all know about GEOW3. Color Me Funky and very disappointed about todays announcements.
Im a mulri platform gamer love my 360....but thank god i have a PS3 to do some real hardcore gaming. I think this is all 360 hardcore gamers have to look foward to GEOW3 Forza 4 and Halo remake. This article sounds more like a sell job. Have MS forgot how to make games not looking forward to any big E3 announcements.
I guess the feed back they got from NA gamers made them hesitant to release the game.

So much hate from the pro Sony folks they can't stand it a game looking superior than their precious exclusives. This should let people know that Sony in-house developers aren't the best. Wouldn't surprise me if the 360 was the lead platform.
this is the second update for the engine as of now its called UE3.5 which powers BulletStorm and GEOW 3....check out the differences from Gears 1 and 2 and compare it to Gears 3 and Bulletstorm. Definitely excited about the unveiling of the new engine.
@the pro Sony folks we've seen RE3 it doesn't look near as good as KZ3 BulletStorm and Rage.
They have another big title slated for November can we say Halo remake ...maybe.

first i looked they look identical but when you look at it the second time the 360 has better textures in certain areas.

I doubt the price drop is a result of sales after Sony said they said they're only intrested in turning profits.
ya know most pro-sony folks think ps3 exclusives are the only games that will be available this year. There are a ton of 3rd party games that will be just as good or better and will be available to play on the 360.....take for instance MAG a ps3 exclusive most gamers hated it only the pro-Sony folks hyped and liked it. The rest of the exclusives haven't released we don't know if these games are going to be good just hype and hearsat.
are they basing this off NPD NA sales or world wide.
totally remember that thread the pro-Sony guys were trashing him because he said something negative about KZ3.....I posted in that thread saying if Cliffy says something nice about the ps3 he there best friend....the hypocricy hat goes on here.
the guy is a true gamer....a true gamer buys all games regardless of what platform it's on.
they have to turn a profit for their stock and share holders if they don't they will pull all their money out. This alsp is a sign that a price cut is coming but it won't be as deep as some folks think.

i saw this coming months agao. The game was going against ps3 exclusives and knew it would lose out in sales. This year a lot of 3rd party gamesare going to have a hard time selling on the ps3 with the 2 exclusives releasing each month. Don't be surprised when you see ps3 exclusives sales high and 2rd party software low each month...take this for an example KZ3 going against Bulletstorm we know which game will sell better.

a 199.99 ps3 price will assure that Sony will never make a profit on the system. If Sony is aiming at a 199.99 price it would have to get voted on buy the stock and shareholders where there money is involved.
Its apparent that MS business model has changed for the 360....release 3-4 hardcore exclusive titles per year and let the third party titles sell the system. YOU GO MS if thats your new strategy....thank god i have my PS3 for hardcore games and will do most of my gaming on that this year.
