It sells because it's cheap for what it is. They're losing money for every 3DS sold and the software is still pretty dire nearly a year in. I'm on the fence on Whether to sell it or not, I'm sure something worthwhile is gonna come out and I'll have to buy it back. Nothing as of yet though besides half length lack of content bite size games. Previous mario 64 ds and mario kart ds had way more content and seemed more like full games At least they're selling them though....

Thats not remote play, thats cross platform play. Different story.
They don't talk about it because they don't believe its going to be supported well enough. The PSP remote play was bad, Laggy and only a very few games supported it. Currently the Vita is using the crappy PSP remote play and there has been no info as to whether there will be a better version or more games supported. This is the problem. Also, all the hacked videos of people playing unsupported games still have 60+ Ms of input lag, and that makes playing on it very unattractive.
I don't get the Tetris effect with Tetris even though I play it the most, Strangely I get it with Lumines. And I constantly get Rockband aftereffect.

Its not screwed up, having the ability to get a digital copy from your UMD for a discount is a bonus its not an entitlement. If I want to play PSP i'll play my PSP, If not i'll buy the digital version.

Do any of you know Sony at all? The price will not drop, even if it does sell badly (which I don't think will happen in the west) the ps3 initially sold badly, how long till a price drop? Consumers are wishing for a pricedrop but it's not gonna happen. The 3DS dropped its price due to a poor launch and no good games for 6 months, vita is a different story. Who wants modnation? That's one of the worst games to pick, no online is laughable for a multiplayer oriented franchise. Don't even mention a half arsed patch that they're gonna force into the game. This game should/could have been ps3 modnation in your hands without the terrible loading times.
