Sounds like someone with little FPS experience.
"I wish I was playing the ever-exciting Titanfall"
Really? Why name an average FPS and not a good one?
And why mention titanfall 5 times in the article?
I do agree, I'm not saying it's bad, saying its average. But it's better than any shooter on PS4 currently.
Or it could be because it takes all of it's mechanics from other games and doesn't do it as well.
Titanfall to me doesn't feel new. It feels old. people say its a twitch shooter when it hardly is.
I would have played the game more if it was all precision weapons like quake or something, but the whole COD machine guns kills it for me.
Very true, I don't know any friends who are still playing it on PC. For a PC shooter it's pretty average. I'm sure it's great for Xbone owners though.
The battle of the bubbles continues.
Calm down girls, what does this even matter? It's hardly worth wasting your energy arguing.
The pitiful sales in the UK are hardly important.
The UK is pretty irrelevant anyway, And I live here.
I'm not belittling anyone. The generic techno throughout the game was just poor. Hey, if you like that kind of thing, great. I however preferred that incredible percussion and the orchestral scores. I can remember nearly all of the music from the previous halo games in my head.
You ask pretty much anyone if they can even remember how any of the tracks go in Halo 4 (aside from the menu music) and you'll find no one will remember, do you know why? Because they didn'...
Yeah, Seems like Naga wasn't playing the same game. The music in Halo 4 sucks, it just wasn't halo.
Biggest mistake ever to remove that iconic theme.
I think people mostly disagree because his comment doesn't really add anything to the discussion.
It would be just as useless to write "yes".
Phil Spencer was surprised GAMEROOM wasn't successful?
The future looks bright for xbox LOL.
@Mega24
Marathon was a Macintosh game.
haha, No, what Phil Spencer does is PR, and REALLY fake PR aswell. If you haven't caught on by now on how Microsoft function, you deserve to get screwed.
I'll buy in once they PROVE what they say. I bought my 360 first last gen, it got dusty once microsoft abandoned proper games for Kinect.
Once they prove themselves, they may get my money.
The thing about sony, is they come across as humble, they aren't pushing things in your fa...
Yay What a great time to be a gamer! I love phil, he's the best. He's gonna make the xbox one faster and the games 10X better with his words.
@DevilOgreFish, steam and all that controller stuff mean nothing, I could get drivers to run whatever controller, I don't need steam, that just makes it easier. DX12? Mantle? What are you talking about? Tech and driver support don't mean squat when you don't have any meaningful games to back it up. I'm talking about quality exclusives. Sure, pc has an abundance of games, the majority of it shovelware. But compare today to the late 90's and 2000's (if you were there, wh...
I like how people who voice their opinions and add to the discussion can see where I'm coming from. I guess these ghost disagrees are from people who unfortunately never got to experience the golden age of pc gaming.
@combatcash MOBAs, RTS and mmo is what the pc is these days, for me, I'm not a big fan. The witcher is no longer pc exclusive and ARMA is not exactly a polished masterpiece, it's a buggy mess. I been playing since operation flashpoint. DayZ is fun, b...
I agree. Been a pc gamer for over 20 years, now is not the best era for pc gaming, unless you love average third party games, indies and Mobas.
Early 2000 was the best time for pc gaming, it has no decent exclusives, where are the quakes, unreal tournaments, dues ex, kingpin, total annilhations, dungeon keeper, end others? No where to be seen. I haven't played a pc exclusive anywhere near as solid as the say halo or the last of us in over 10 years.

bubbled george for funny. good idea kingthrash
I think he must have forgotten his medication.
I think he is right if he is talking about occulous rift alone. The problem with Occulous is that the mainstream don't like fiddling with crap to get it working. Installing drivers and tweaking secondary applications to get Occulous running correctly is going to be too much for the people who make the big sales.
Morpheus on the other hand is a different story, if it's plug and play etc it will be alot more accessible for the casuals etc = big sales.
Hardly flamebait, I just thought it strange that there was so much talk of titanfall in the article when they are different genres.
It's like playing GTA 5 and saying "I wish I was playing the ever-exciting saboteur".

No need to get so angry.
