I'm sorry but dark souls is about as linear as your life.
Don't get a samsung 3d display unless you are into large input lag. I'm planning on selling mine due to not being able to play certain pc games properly.

Very true, 3D enthusiast here, console 3D is not worth it. If you have a sweet pc though it's fantastic and totally worth the money for a decent 3D set. The pc also has a huge back catalogue of games that can be run in 3D. I still use console 3D it's just that the resolution and gfx drop needed to keep the framerate steady make the games take a big hit :(

How does this chap not mention telltale games in this whole article? Tim Schafer hasn't created anything worthwhile since psychonauts. Telltale are keeping the genre alive.

Not true. The best 3D available is on the pc where the drivers do the work, half the games that aren't 3d vision still look awesome. I'm a 3D fanatic and it annoys me when people say its a gimmick bleh bleh. We have two eyes and see with depth how is that a gimmick? Of course people can say oh I don't like it I get headaches etc, their loss.

They easily cover Over glasses so that you are infact wearing two pairs. I dont care about glasses at all I was just playing shadow of the colossus in 3d went to take a dump got my phone out and went on n4g and forgot I had the damn things on! As I'm typing to you now I'm sat on the crapper wearing 3d specs.
All console 3d is pretty poor. Unfortunately the HDMI hardware is not fast enough to output decent 3d and audio at the same time. Don't quote me on this but I believe both consoles are HDMI 1.3 where 1.4 is the standard. Even uncharted suffers a resolution drop and looks blurry. This generation I'm sticking to my pc for 3d gaming as I can run 1080p at 30hz and that looks super sexy. Also gears in 3d is currently not true 3d. Gears 2 is the better game but unfortunately its multiplayer is broken.
This did not happen to 3ds a year ago. That was some fake picture using the picture viewer app.
