How about a review without spoiling the damn game? You don't need to spoil everything about the game. Eventhough I played this game and beat it, it still respectful to let gamers play for themselves.
I am getting this impression from young gamers that being in your 30s, 40s etc, that we are too slow or brittle. What is that all about?
I agree. I just don't like when they make MP trophies or achievements required. I think they should be optional and not affecting your score.
what? I am 35 years old and I still play video games. People eat. Are they too old to eat? People shop. Are they too old for that?
No, I have to say as long as I have breath in my body. I will play games until I am physically unable to pick up a controller and see the TV screen.
Age is irrelevant.
SPOILERS BELOW-YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
This is how I see this. When you are dealing with time and multiple universes. It is hard to write rules, when you can't even prove that such things exist.
How does one Booker Dewitt affect all the Booker Dewitt's? Also if Booker Dewitt is Comstock, how doesn't Booker not recognize himself as being older? How doesn't Elizabeth not recognize it? She would see that Booker was her father.
Also you don&...
I invoke the executive order 69-I don't give a hoot-54th article in the Gamers Code of Rights!
Thanks, I didn't think about that:) Reedit it!
Yeah I thought so to and it turns out that I was Spoiler. This whole time I was with her because I thought we would end up falling in love? Oh how I was wrong. I really wanted to take off the dress.
Everyone seems to forget Elika from Prince of Persia? She was written in the same way. She talks to you at certain points and she can help guide you to where you needed to go. She saves you from falling to death. You could actually stop and ask her questions along the way. She helped you in combat by adding to some of the combos. Even if the encounters were focused Two against 1.
Elizabeth is wonderful too. She gave you money and ammo and health and vigors in combat. She ope...
Christianity is so wide. There are about 38,000 or so variations of the religion. So there is no one way to interpret it. Yet you need to take the context of the time period. People tend to forget that. It is 1912 and not 2013. So those issues were present. Today people wish to forget that it ever existed. Yet Slavery happened and Christians helped enforce that idea by quoting scriptures to justify their actions against black slaves. Jesus gave commandments how to treat slaves. As Jesus didn&...
This will be interesting, if they can pull it off. I was kind of surprise that Rocksteady wasn't developing this one. We only can wait and find out in October.
first of all, she doesn't even look like the new Lara. So wouldn't it be ideal if they actually got a person that actually looks like the character in the game. You can tell from the side by side shot, there is a huge difference.
I stopped reading after I read that you were convince by a couple of Gamestop employees. Gamestop is a corporated evil and really they don't know nothing about gaming. All they know is how to sell preorders and extra DLC. When a Gamestop employee is asking me if I want God of War on the Xbox 360, than we really have problems. I had my local Gamestop manager not even know that there was no MP in Bioshock Infinite and she tried to sell my friend who had preorder his game from Gamestop, to ...
Graphics and gameplay go hand and hand. Being able to recognize your surrounding immerses you in the game. Since Crysis is a shooter, the gameplay mechanics aren't going to change drastically from another. Pretty much you point and shoot. Go through an area and shoot some more. I think with Crysis, I think puzzle elements should have been incorporated into gameplay. This way it makes you think. Some levels of the games, you don't even have to engage with the enemy. So you can just ski...
Why can't anyone just play a game without overly analyzing it to death? It is a videogame. Simple. You play it and move on to the next game. Why people have to take a game and just beat like a dead horse is beyong me?
I wasn't saying that there was sciencific proof. There isn't such a study. Yet there is a study that negative energy is associated with health problems. Why do Buddists meditate because they realize that negative energy can make them unhealthy.
Is it coincident that he should lose his jaw; why not his leg? Nothing is by coincident. Everything happens for a reason, whether we choose to understand it or not. He spent hours doing reviews, some negative and some positive....
it's kind of ironic that Ebert spent most of his life criticizing every single movie and then he loses his jaw and no longer able to speak anymore. Maybe it should be a lesson for other people, that they don't need to criticize everything that they watch and play. Too much negative energy, which if you build enough causes you to have health problems.
You would be have to be from another planet, not to finish this game. I finished the game two nights ago and all I can say is that the game is a Must Get and Must Buy. The story is phenomenal. I am replaying it in 1999 mode. Trying to pick up the things I missed.
I think there was one game or two that I didn't bother playing all the way through. I think that was GhostRider? It was trying to be a God of War and DMC knock off and it got boring after some motorcycle portions...
I do have to say that I do enjoy Elizabeth's company and all, but I have notice some funny things about her. There was this one level that I had clear the entire room of baddies and she was still crouching behind a wall or table like there was someone in the room. Also I would wait for her to say hmmm. That was clear sign that she found money. The one thing that I found odd was she can hand you salts and money and ammo but she can't pick up lockpicks? Booker can you please pick up tho...
okay I will copy and paste all your spoilers.
"There are times where you anticipate danger but you’re not allowed to draw a weapon because the game wants to create dramatic tension, like when you are in a cave and you know there is a wolf nearby but you can’t arm yourself. Once it attacks you then have to button mash a Quick Time Event to kill it."
"As you traverse the environment and try and perform leaps and bounds you will inevitably fail an...
