Sony still gets your money buying their game on steam even if this comes true of being able to play steam games on Xbox. It's just more sales for them, I don't think they will mind.
F WB. They bought a studio that made great FPS games and then made them make non fps games and then closes them down because they did not live up to WB's expectations... How about don't buy them if you wont allow them to make what they are great at!
Just in time to. Just as Xbox came in to replace the failing Dreamcast, the Steam Machine is coming in to replace the failing Xbox. Oh the irony of history repeating itself.
Not that my random comment on the Internet will make a difference but wish they would do more Hot Pursuit games and they should alternate between doing NFS games and Burnout games. Imagine Burnout games with police chases like Hot Pursuit, one can dream.
For those that don't know the rtx 5000 series is using the same chip size of 4nm which the rtx 4000 series uses as well. You normally get performance gains by going to smaller chip size and this did not. So staying on the same chip size with slight spec changes explain the little performance up lift which is why they leaned hard in software features such as frame gen 4x. Once chips get to 1nm in size the days of making smaller chips that equal faster performance will be over.
It's like they learned nothing from Halo 2. People wanted to play as Master Chief and they had you switching to the Arbiter half of the time in Halo 2. Then Halo 3 they learned their lesson and went back to playing as the Master Chief for the whole game. Then Halo 5 went back to switching to a character that was not Master Chief half of the time because it worked out so well with Halo 2...
It only took a YouTuber showing it was possible to play PS3 games on a trimmed down PS5 mining card for Sony to get off its butt since they can no longer hide behind hypotheticals of it can't be done.
