Personally I wasn't bothered by the lack of surprise because as you stated, several of their games were to be expected. I think they did go all out though, they had a whole pitch for FIFA alone, promoting Volta with some of the world's most popular freestylers. I don't think it was a perfect event, it definitely missed catering to everyone, but for the most part they did improve on their format.

personally i like to see what reviewers have to say because sometimes they will let you know if a product was falsely advertised or not.
i think the only true advantage to playing on PC is that you don't feel too obligated to get extra things for your console like the kinect and whatnot. not sure if this is what other gamers might think.
