I think you have miss read my first post, i was not talking about last gen, i was stating that PS4 is a cheaper and more powerful console, and Skyrim and Doom are also cheaper and better on PS4.
I think you are abit outdated, just like Nintendo, but cartoon consoles can be fun for the kids.
You are absolutely right DrJones, the only way to game is on a Tegra X1 at 30fps, with a blistering resolution of 540p scaled to 720p.
And with Bethesda making VR Doom, clearly indicates that VR is coming out for Switch with that very powerful Tegra X1 chipset.

Skyrim and Doom have been butchered to work on Switch, so yeah Bethesda killed the games alright.
These games are that blocky, they nearly pass as a Minecraft game, just saying.
Would it not have worked out better and cheaper to just buy a standard PS4 or Xbox One , and then buy Doom and Skyrim for way cheaper with much better visuals and frame rate.

Xbox grandstanding nothing more, this game will be good on all the systems, its just one of those game franchises. For example when i got Blackflag for PS4 it came with the PS3 version aswell, i played the PS4 version first of course, and really enjoyed it, and about a year after that i played the PS3 version, and i was immersed once again, the little PS3 version had been scaled to pull you in. And at no time playing the PS3 version did i think that it was inferior to the PS4 version, althoug...
Yeah and every image different, each one using post processing in a totally different way, greatly altering the scene with allsorts of haze , motion blur etc.

If i can buy Xbox games from the store to play on my PC (The Real Beast), then why would i need a Scorpio?
And when people see Anthem running on PS4 Pro, they will be more than happy with it and realise its not a exclusive 4k trip that only Xbox X can provide.

But Xbox fanse can rejoice that Xbox Scorpio is a getting a new exclusive IP, its called Terror Flop, it has a high resolution counter that sits in the middle of the screen running in true 4K, from the screenshots ive seen, this is going to blow the likes of Horizon Zero Dawn, Driveblub and Uncharted away. To make VR a mainstream tool, these companies need to organise mini road shows, because you need to put the headset on to experience what is going on, you cant do that on Youtube videos, and E3 etc, will not reach enough people to make it mainstream. Get these things in music festivals , holiday resorts , instead of waiting for people to come, take the platform to them.
