With all the attention (and sales) Sony is getting from its PS3 Slim I can totally see Microsoft trying to jump on the bandwagon... I think a 360 slim would be a great idea and hopefully, if it does happen, it'll put an end to all that rrod nonsense.

I agree with you, but Microsoft has done great things to innovate online console gaming. I mean, without Live, I don't think PSN would be the same. Live really pushed PSN into territory it probably would have never ventured without the competition. But now it's time for MS to innovate somewhere else, and I don't think Natal is the answer.

Streaming is great for renting or for a casual view, but if I seriously wanted to own a movie, Live and PSN are the last places I'd go
Microsoft should release a NXE patch that allows users to boot the console and have it instantly go to 'My Xbox' instead of 'Spotlight.' Problem solved. Now you're not necessarily being "forced" to view anything.

I recently purchased a 360 to sit alongside my PS3 and they're both great consoles, but if you already have a PS3 and aren't a big FPS fan, then getting a 360 is pretty redundant.
I'm not trying to force anyone to change their opinions on homosexuality/heterosexuality in video games. I simply stated a fact that this topic would garner a slew of ridiculous and homophobic comments. I could quote a few to prove my point, but I think it'll be easier to just scroll up/down.
This question is focused at gamers? You mean the same immature gamers that argue back and forth on the internet about which mega corp. produced the best console, or which multiplatorm title has faster load times? Yikes. I'm pretty sure we all know how this is gonna turn out.
So I think we can all come to the conclusion that they both suck, and Xband is the best console gaming service.
Coming from someone that's been using PSN for about 2 years, I was really excited when I got my Xbox, so I could experience all that Live had to offer, but to my surprise it really isn't worth the price of admittance. The performance of online multilayer is essentially on par with PSN and both stores are pretty identical these days (minus all the demos Live has). Yeah all the voice chat options are neat (i guess?) but if that's the only reason I pay 50 bucks a year then opt my console out bec...
