In regards to Sonic looking better on the PS3 then the 360. I would wager that is due to the TV sets being used. Sony is using extremely high quality 1080P capable sets. At E3 those sets made a huge difference. Possibly the best TV sets I've ever seen. I could be wrong though of course.
I played the game last night on a huge movie screen in NYC at the Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Gears event. This game is completely worth $60.00. It is amazingly fun. It's going to be the biggest 360 Live game so far. Nothing is more gratifying then chainsawing your opponent in half. AMEN
I will be the best looking person at the NYC event.
I don't really read other people's comments, so all of the childish stuff hasn't really affected me I suppose. It sucks when you get a few bad lemons in an otherwise great community. Glad to see you're taking care of things properly though and cleaning up the riff raff. I really love what you've done with this site.
Yeah, if you change the size in the drop down box to the higher resolution it really looks pretty.

I dont recall seeing this at E3 at all. If it was there it was shown "behind closed doors", which I doubt. It's probably all talk at this point.
I played the other night for 4 hours and I still had 12 levels left to go. This game is at least 8 hours long. And its 8 hours of good quality content. FPS should only be about 8-10 hours long or else it gets drawn out and boring. Look at Doom 3 for instance.
Theres also multiplayer too. God I hate humanity.
I played this at E3 probably more then any other game. It is just like GTA, except it is more violent (much more violent!) and literally everything I didnt like in GTA has been removed. They improved upon everything, mainly the controls. The aim is just perfect now, unlike in GTA where it was almost a chore to shoot stuff. This game is going to own, mark my words!
The core version price could drop. The premium version could take the cores current price, and this new version could be sold for $399. You of course might not even want the HD-DVD so you don't have to buy it. If you already own a premium, you buy the external HD-DVD for $99. All of this would make Sony's PS3 $599 sell even more difficult, and I think it's a great strategy against blu-ray.
The hud is very interesting. Look at how in the bottom left hand corner the map is now spherical and 3D. Also, the top left hand corner shows code running as if this is just in production. Could possibly be real I think. Anyone judging the graphics is retarded because like the poster before me mentioned, its a low quality picture of someones TV screen.
Emergence Day is just a day MS plans on having tons of Gears related events. The actual release date for Gears is the 7th.
