No more a waste of time than any other form of entertainment, as a social activity they're fun and can be educational.
Playing games isn't unhealthy, not moving and eating crap for days on end is. You can't blame games for a unhealthy lifestyle.

this is not news. news would be a release date. entire series of games have been released and finished in the time its taking to bring out 1 game.
they should stop talking about until they actually have something to say or show.
even if joel had let ellie die it wouldnt have saved the world. the theme i found in the game was that people didnt take long after the outbreak to show true colours. it was a good ending and games like last of us are great for industry. think i disagree with everything author wrote.
ME3 now theres a terrible ending.
resident evil is undead, its still on its feet and movin around but you should stay away from it, its not the game you knew and loved its just a mindless husk of its former self.

my games been completely f%#ked ever since i downloaded update.
game won't start if im signed in (single and multiplayer) and if i try signing in using start menu playstation freezes. had to cut power to turn the thing off.
single player seems lot more buggy as well.
its sad but likely true that COD will sell more.
but few friends who are COD fans were not happy with black ops 2 so you never know people may have finally started to see the light.

as for it being overshadowed because its late in this gen of systems is stupid. some of the best games are the last to be released, they're almost always better than the games released at begining of the gen.
loved MGO/MGS4 best online shooter ever. when the cheaters were everywhere it kinda ruined it but really lookin forward to playing again.
it got so much right and you actually had to be good too level up once got into double figures. it premoted teamwork and punished you for being reckless and dyeing plus level was decent indicator of your skill.
i was a big PES fan but don't like buying annualy released football games so gave it a break for few years. got PES 13 and it had hardly evolved at all.
still a good game but online master league was crap and the commentary has'nt changed since PS2.
It'll be a while before i buy a new one.

If theres anyone who should know that they're sitting on a gem of a series surely its the company that makes the the game. you have a real go at making this game properly its gonna do well, its not gonna sell COD numbers but the gamers that play these games aren't the zombie masses. what you will get is solid sales from the title alone and if made well you get respect as a company.

i really liked the ending, to me joel did nothing wrong. the world had already ended even if they found a cure the firefly's were nearly all dead and in the end as bad as the military and hunters. the infected were manageable but people were the real problem i thought was the general theme.
if you would kill a kid you considered a daughter just for a chance of a cure you derseve to be shot in the face.

this game was easily one of the better games i've played. it was kinda repetitive but when i was playing it didnt feel that way. the author said it didnt have any resident evil puzzles that make you think, well neither does resident evil. he said it reminds him of nearly every end of the world type film, of course it does why even say that.
