Uncharted has always had a solid multiplayer with an amazing campaign (outside of 1 being campaign only). I feel like the reason ppl enjoyed 2 more than 3 was due to it's simplicity and it's controls. 2 was very basic in its gameplay and relied on maps & playlists to change the feel of the game. 3 went a little overboard with all the customizations and treasures but what really changed the game for me was the gameplay decisions... running-rolling and gunning became the prominen...
From the gameplay I've seen it reminds me of the exploration of Uncharted with the stealth takedowns reminding me of Last of Us. Both great games so I hope this one turns out just as great.
Notice how ND said "Nathan Drake's Final E3" and "Uncharted the Nathan Drake Collection"... I could totally see ND or Sony continuing Uncharted with new characters, like Nate's son and so on. They word it well to leave the door open.

We're only 2 years in and there's no way to say who won yet. PS3 was down most of last gen and made huge investments in games to pull back into 2nd place behind (by a long shot) the Wii. XboxOne could easily do the same in Sony gets too content or if they come out with some must have games. MS has way more money to invest if they want and I would never say a generation is won until the next generation is announced.
Game looks great, I can't wait to get this when it finally makes it's way onto PS4. Some things I noticed just from getting spoiled with Uncharted, they should add wet clothes when she gets wet and the water seemed to fill up that one area WAY too fast. Still going to be a great game I just tend to notice the little things like that sometimes.
Comparing this to a TV that's not too bad. And most projectors I've seen are quite a bit more than that. I think it's a decent price point personally.
PSN does have a lot of room for improvement, but it also has done some extremely cool and revolutionary things like Share Play, Remote Play almost any game on Vita, and PS Now which I tested and worked great. They have their hiccups to fix but I really enjoy those 3 features that you dont find on any other network.
The delay was due to the 2 Last of Us writers taking over managing of Uncharted 4 and they didn't like certain directions the game was going so they made some big changes and restarted some aspects of development. There's a few articles about it. I'm sure they don't care about holding a game back to see how another game looks, they just want to make a great game that ppl with love to play and so they can sell lots and make $.

But I will say Uncharted has better character models (as you can see by comparing Lara's skin/face to Nate's) and the lighting and foliage in Uncharted looks quite a bit better. This basically gives them a monopoly on ways to stream games into households. Whether the patents are useful or not, I don't see a competitor in the running now for a long time.
If Naughty Dog can still release an open beta to U4's multiplayer by the end of November for us to test the game a bit, I can see that being enough to get me and many other Uncharted fans through the holidays.
I'm sure all 3 consoles will have big hitting games this holiday, I just don't know if any of them will be of interest to me.
Didn't Sony show they have multiple headsets that do this (Augmented reality) and/or what Oculus Rift does (Virtual Reality)?
This feels like MS is playing catchup again. I liked their idea of the projector that projected the image around the room on walls way better. THAT no one else has done yet! Anyways, hopefully all are done well and aren't too pricey.
Funny thing, I haven't had a single problem. Only issue I heard about was the rest mode one which doesn't seem all that difficult to fix. But sure, I'll play along... complete disaster.
Why not just create an extra profile on your PS4 and have them log into that one to play. Or better yet, have your friends add their profile to your system so they can use their own
GT needs to keep their track racing like so many fans love, but I could see them having a separate mode where it's open world driving which would be pretty cool. Having both would make it one hell of a game.
PS4 Is Selling Well Mostly Thanks To:
- Their support of PS3 late in its life vs the competition
- A diverse group of first party studios vs the competition
- Better first impression to the media
- Slightly more powerful hardware for a cheaper price
Haha ok man. I mean, its all opinion I guess, but the majority disagrees with you.
Xbox has some great games, that's for sure. Sony has yet to make a FPS that can compete with the popularity of Halo. But saying that Ryse is the best looking game when it has CG cutscenes and that Sunset Overdrive is better looking than Infamous Second Son? Few will support that argument.
There will always be something to boast about... higher res, higher frame rate, better textures, less screen tearing.... and when all else fails, "my exclusives are better than yours"
Channel-Live - The artist that actually drew that art for Ubisoft is now working at Naughty Dog (if you do a little research). My guess is he used his previous art to just see what the trailer would look like and forgot to replace it before the release. I doubt they consciously made an effort to 'steal' it. And using the Ellen Page/Ellie likeliness to claim them to be notorious thieves is a ridiculous stretch.
