Read my post above, the kz2 engine must have been finished years ago, since the game just went golden.
You cant develop an engine and a game on the very same engine parallel.
So by now there should have been reports about games being developed using the same engine as KZ2 uses.
For example, first came the unreal engine, and then came unreal tournament, when unreal tournament was announced the engine was long finished and distributed to other developers.
Thats ps3 logic, give them 2 statements, and they will magically add three more they made up theirselves.
So, how come there are no games announced yet for the Killzone engine ?
They just finished the game, so the engine should have been complete for at least 2 years now.
And yet still no announcements of games on the Kz2 engine.

Your wrong, the 360 got more high rated exclusives, check meta to see add ups of all the reviews, the exclusives on the 360 also generally sell more.

Its the hardware that is to blame, not the software that runs on it, no engine can make a difference about overall development complexity.
Dont forget the ps3 got one amazing AAA title every three year, is way too expensive to produce to reach a fair price point any time soon.
The ps3 is also getting its butt whipped by the wii and the 360 on sales.
And its lineup consists mostly of shooters and mediocre action games.
And last, its friggin huge.
Accept it, the ps3 = Xbox1.
