considering that in mass effect you decide how your characters looks and behaves like, the emotion goes much deeper then metal gear, as its completely your own input.

It would mean nothing if he says the ps3 is better.
Afterall the deal has already been made, they already supply the processors for both the 360, and the ps3.
So whatever he states will make no difference, not for future deals either, as Intel is designing the next gen of processors.
Look, the guy is not some genius that put his life into designing the cell.
They just gave him a job to design two processors, one based on already familiar architecture (xeon) and one based on an alternative architechture (cell) they where both produced with the same budget, so its not unlikely they are both equally powerful.
Ps3 and 360 both got something extra, ps3 got blu ray, and the 360 got unified memory and a better GPU.
you should check your sources, both processors come from IBM, they are even designed using the same concept.

So i find it very hard to believe they had to use a diesel generator.
