Condisering cartridges read data faster then blu-ray I'm not surprised plus they don't come as big as the ones in the snes days think 3ds carts with 32GB/64GB...
Well this gen has been about console sales not good 3rd party games,at least Nintendo with wiiu produced some corkers for us to play...

ATARI doesn't count because they were not mainstream and essentially there anologue sticks were not even close....

I've noticed people hold on to information that isn't confirmed yet ie 32GB could be the equivalent of single layer disc they might have a 64GB version as well which would make sense for games that use near 50GB already on ps4 ect but 32GB would be enough for most games 1st or 3rd party....
