I don't think it's because women don't like to game or that we like to play simple games. For a lot of women I know it's just a matter of time availablity, priority with other things, and competing for the console with other household members. I usually buy games for my husband that I intend to play too, but never find the time. Albiet a male lead character, FPS, or RPG. I prefer RPG orsomething with more depth than just shoot em up.
I agree with everything especially the goofy-ness of the characters.
Can't imagine kickin' butt when you can't even see your feet, or the unbearable neck and back pain from just having jugs like that.
