It's basically Ninja Gaiden 2 for the PS3, but with new characters, new storylines... Basically, if you bought this for the Xbox, feel a little ripped off.
You wanna read the article, or is lazy conjecture and rhetorical questions enough for you? :)
That said, MGS4 was more film than game, so it's tempting to be an ass and suggest that it was, in fact, an emotional movie experience ;). That said, I'd not have minded had FFVII had more cutscene time than gameplay, but then it'd have had around 150 hours of cutscenes...
Definitely, italianbreadman is completely right. Music really does evoke far deeper emotions than visual imagery can on its own.
Indeed. To be honest, none of Spielberg's stuff has made me cry past the age of, what, ten?
Lost Odyssey was indeed sad, though sadder was the fact I got to disc three, then lost my saved game. Crushed.
Hilarious. Fanelli is pure win.
Great fighting game, a real improvement on the lamentable WWE titles.
Runescape is addictive, and it's really improved over the past few years.
It's good to be back.
RuneScape is like crack. It's dirty, and no one talks about it, but secretly, everyone always wonders what it's like. Great game, though.
Cheers to the poster of this, I loved the OST.
Did you even read the article? Beacuse if you think it said "gamers are nuts, and it's games that make them nuts" then you clearly didn't.
I saw this pop up on Steam recently, it looks great.
As far as I'm aware, the concept of "journalism" is, as both a journo and an english lit graduate, a topic of much debate.
I think you should also consider the fact that I didn't call you a fanboy at any point, I said it was a shame the response you gave was so hostile, as your points were intelligently made but I find it's usually best to let stupid people insult themselves, that way you're never the troll in the thread, and I apologise if any offense was taken, I'm ...
I think it's sad you all bashed MattG for saying NFS:Shift was a contender to the Gran Turismo throne. I've sat in the development studio and played away for a day and it thrashed any GT game I've ever touched. He may post articles you find questionable, but that one was purely his opinion and calling him out on something you consider fact makes him opinionated and you a fanboy. Congratulations, whoever that was, you just made yourself look less intelligent than the journalist you slammed on ...
This wasn't a first-look preview, this was a bunch of already-released facts and barely-disguised hype for the title.
He's a very interesting man, that Tony Gonzales.
Interesting article, I always wondered what the main character was like. The question is, is he a parody of frat-boy mentalities, or a protagonist we are encouraged to empathise with?
Great article, really intelligently written.
