How about no. Nobody has even seen gameplay yet. This article is idiotic.
Sorry, guys. I was mistaken.
Tomorrow.
Tomorrow.
Even though the base engine is Unreal, I'm sure there are things that they're doing on a tech level that is shared in-house by Sony studios. Even Naughty Dog built Uncharted and The Last of Us on a heavily modified version of Unreal.
Game's stunning. I can't even imagine what Sony studios developing on PS5 will bring us.
Sony lost hundreds of dollars per console when PS3 launched. They said they simply can't do that again with another console. With PS4 they about broke even on price at launch. And I don't want to see a weak console either. I feel like the PS5 will launch at $499, and that price is more than okay with me considering the tech they plan on packing into it.
According to Google, it cost Sony $803 to make the PS3. So they lost a lot per console.
And Sony still lost tons of money on every PS3 sold. They said they couldn't do that again, and had to at the very least sell any new console at cost. I think when PS4 launched they only made about $10-$15 dollars profit per console.
@DillyDilly
PS3 launched at $600, so it's obvious you don't know what you're talking about.
Delete old games?!
I see it at $499, which is absolutely fine. It's not like Microsoft will be selling their new system any cheaper. Even at that price, I have no doubt Sony will he selling at a loss considering how packed the console will be with tech.
NEVER!!!
@KickSpinFilter
Actually, my PS4 came right on launch day from Amazon 😉
I'll just pre-order on announcement day from Amazon lol.
That's my thought as well. They need some backing and more people to reach their full potential.
They're not real journalists.
@Quetza
That was a great analogy. Props.
Yep, exactly! Some people seem to miss the entire point of not having an easy mode in games.
Actually, every game benefits with a solid 60fps.
