Thing is, bud, the game without the patch is a 10/10. So, if you don't feel like waiting for a patch to fix some minor issues, then you should have no problem playing what is considered a masterpiece by most reviewers. The patch is just ironing an already ironed shirt to get out those last pesky wrinkles.
I wonder if they'll just release two versions of the PS5 on day one. A standard and premium version that will both play the new next-gen games, but one will have a slight edge in resolution or whatever.
Yeah. Who knows where some people pull a final score from.
Funny, I don't see any billboarding whatsover. Everything has depth and appears to be rendered in 3D. Doesn't matter though, I'm sure you won't be enjoying the game upon release anyway.
The thing is, 1st Party PlayStation games really don't leave any stone unturned when it comes to "visuals." What I mean is, not just are their games a visual spendor of minute detail to look at, but everything down to subtle animations and environment interactions and sound design all add to a magnificent sense of realism in their games. They really do lead the industry as far as I'm concerned when it comes to game development. Remarkable indeed.
Mine too. Thank God. I was getting worried with the whole thing about Sony games disappearing on the store for pre-orders.
I sure hope so. This game needs to sell so we get more like it.
This should be a lot of fun. I love Payday 2 a lot, so I have high hopes for this.
If you can watch gameplay from the new God of War and not see a bit of Dark Souls inspiration, then quite frankly you are just kidding yourself. I for one am more excited for the game based on that fact, and will probably consider it game as my GotG. So stoked. It's going to be amazing. The only hard part now is not to spoil any of it before I get to play it.
OMG...this game is going to be so f'n sweet...
Give me God of War, baby!
Every game benefits from 60fps, don't play dumb. However, there are a lot of games that play extremely well when locked at 30fps too. And that cap allows for a higher visual fidelity, which helps engage players into the game world, making it more believable.
Even when they revealed the X, it seemed as if there was an unwarented cocky arrogance to the suits of Microsoft as if the gamers should buy their console just because it was new and had a little more juice than before, despite their lackluster lineup of games.
What makes this God of War different than any other game?
1. The care taken with the game world as far as the setting. Using Old Norse language in the soundtrack. Encountering Norse God's and characters from Norse Mythology all interwoven into a unique and epic new story.
2. Continuous camera with no cuts.
3. Unique combat systems that haven't been implemented the same way in any other third-person game.
4. Unique puzzles that require team...
And here I've been confused thinking I've been playing a bunch of open world games on my PS4. What the heck was I thinking. lol.
Finally!
This game looks absolutely incredible... I need to go on media blackout...
Before Vikings, not before Norse Mythology.
Onrush as well.
It could be the best game ever made in my opinion, not just the best in the series. It's been beyond my wildest expectations.
