I definitely concur on this point. My main 'bothering point' from all of the games as of late have been the host disconnects, game lag-outs, etc. If they fix the network issues then they will hear far less complaining from us gamers.
I'm not afraid to just jump into the game -- back in MW2 I used to do that quite often. In turn, that would often lead me to getting whupped by the numerous beta testers and people who have had experience with the levels.

Treyarch, like many other developers, are too focused on adding more content and innovation to a game than fixing what is broken in their system. They would have a dramatic decrease in complaints from their customers if they focused on improving the innovation that they've introduced in their previous games.

My point exactly. I have a life as well as both consoles. Neither are on for more than 4 hours at a time. It's just ridiculous, saying that most gamers have their consoles on 24/7. Most gamers I know have a life, some with a wife and/or kids.

I own 2 Xbox 360's (1 Premium and 1 new Elite) and I've only had one problem with my elite. I had to send it in ONCE for repairs for RRoD and it was very fast and easy.
I don't get why people make such a huge issue over this. I had to BUY 4 PS2's before I got one that didn't fail on me (the lens issue with the big PS2's).

Come on people, Filefront news is the source here. I only depend on reputable gaming news sources before I even start to debate on how the game will be.
Now, I'm not saying I'll purchase a game depending on the reviews it gets, instead it does affect how soon I will purchase it. I just think they need to quit piggybacking off of destructoid (read how many of their news clips cite destructoid) and get their own opinion.
I think they're spot on with their marketing and games thus far. They have quite a few games that are going to attribute to system sales. The only problem with the console is the price (it being the highest priced of all the consoles).
Give it one or two more price drops and the console sales will explode. I know many people who are just waiting for more. They can't justify the high price right now and most games don't appeal, price being the main factor in that decision.
Why oh why doesn't Sony stay humble and keep their mouths shut. I'm not siding with any console but nothing 'irks' me more than a company (who is in 3rd place of this console war mind you) that gloats when numbers go slightly their way.

I own more than one 360, but that wasn't to replace a failed one. I bought another because I have not had many issues with my 360. I've had one fail on me... count it, ONE.
Combined with the current RRoD warranty, I've purchased an elite for myself and my wife gets the plain ol' white 360 premium. Don't assume that because someone has purchased more than one 360, it's because they've had one fail before and that is the replacement.

In my personal opinion, I thought this game was sub-par. I know it's not far to compare, but this game is NO Tony Hawk. I'm not talking about American Wasteland or anything like that, but the old school Tony Hawk games that actually peaked my interest.
With that said, I like the innovation behind performing tricks. It actually provides a bit of challenge as compared to other skate games. I had quite a hard time doing a simple kickflip, into a grab, into a grind.
