I never thought I'd see the day that the Metal Gear franchise decides to implement a paid demo, microtransactions, and retailer specific pre-order BULL**** all in one game. If Kojima wasn't fired prematurely, this crap would not have happened... well maybe the paid demo.
I'm actually glad he is leaving Konami, but not in this way. Serves as the long overdue conclusion to the Metal Gear saga, and also gives him more creative freedom... I would like to see what kind of indie masterpiece he could craft. MGSV will be the last Konami product I ever spend a cent on, and I REFUSE to buy any microtransactions in said game.
Hate to break it to you, but yeah combat was part of what made it fun and unique (including the materia system), along with visually gorgeous and strangely designed areas, most iconic cast of all FF's, most iconic music of all FF's, most iconic villain and plot.

Do you idiots even realize that this is FINAL FANTASY VII?! You seem to think it is perfectly acceptable for a non-fan to ruin a classic game for everyone else for the sake of accessibility... why not remake the original Metal Gear Solid and take away the stealth? Stupidity...
Try making a game console that can have 3rd party titles without butchering them visually or performance-wise, on top of not giving it an unappealing name (Wii U). Give us an updated gamecube controller, or something similar and just like that you'll be relevant in the gaming world yet again.

If it's not turn-based, it is NOT A REMAKE. I want a REMAKE, not a RE-IMAGINING. It also says the plot will be changed in the article. My hype levels went from 12/10 to 3/10 after reading this. They are just cashing in on an old hit, they don't care what made the original fun and unique. Prove me wrong though Square
I would like to see new characters, and gameplay that is actually fun and unrestricting even if you don't play on hardest.

I'm so surprised... considering the teasing of future tech in BF4 final stand, plus the fact that no developer can be original and has to follow the trend of the industry (currently futuristic). I should have known they wouldn't make BC3 just because they have to conform to the sci-fi norm now. Just as it was modern, and WWII before it. Guess I'll keep having fun with BF4

I sure hope you're right that the internet would melt with rage, considering a lot of people on here are against turn-based for some reason. Probably cuz they like games with visually appealing smooth animations where you only have to mash one button to attack and counter every now and then with a single button prompt as well for an insta-kill that makes you FEEL like a BA

Destiny was an expensive game so it's okay... NO, Destiny chose to have a furious marketing campaign that costs more than making the game itself. Two DLC's were finished a year before release, but cut to be sold later, and the story was butchered as a result
