I think they had to do all the translation right, and debug over again to ensure the thing gets no problem. So it delay a little while, another thing is, since they have network play, if it's on the US server for US customers, they might get the network match thing debug again in US ? ..
or.. they run the thing at japan first, for a first test, then fix some problems and release in usa for additional test? lol

Personally i played both game for a long time. Following are my comments.
First of all, those who said FF11 sux really dont understand the game.
Then, those who said Wow sux need to relaxe.
From my opinion, FF11 is more content based and teamwork based than wow. More organized, and you "must" have good teamwork to do almost anything, that makes the concept of "Multiplayer" comes as requirement.
I had lot of fun with that...

Although it's a good game, but not attractive to me, gt is what i enjoy more.
Assassins Creed both box and ps3 no big deal.
Mass Effect not interested.
Bioshock not my cup of tea.
Stranglehold didnt heard of it.
i still have tons of game not finished yet.. ps3 or box both doesnt matter to me yet.

you should not compare wii with ps2, they are product in different time frame.
um.. how do you know it's a "port" ? time exclusive does not necessary mean it's a port.
in my understanding port should means, finished one and then make it on another with many things transfered from 1st make to 2nd make.
now we dont even know how long is the "timed exclusive", how u can be sure it is a port?
i know plp said ps3 hard to develope, so even they start the same time, ps3 could need more time to finish up anyway...

if it is a choice, customer should have it at the very beginning, not after 10 mil people spend their money then the choice pops up.
for ps3, i really like they way they get everything there at once. who needs update of the hardware once in a while? this is not PC ...

a lot of people like to say that ps 3 = video player...
but that's why the ps3 allowing us to have the "option" of using our own standard ide is such a great idea.... ripping "lesser" than force u to get a "brand name" harddisk when u need to.
well lol... it doesnt matter to me yet... i am far from considering for such option just yet.
