When 80% of your games cars are a direct port from a game that was on a previous generation console it should be given a hard hit on reviews.
Guess what happens to cars that spin and stop beyond a corner where that other cars are accelerating out of(hint: usually it causes a crash).
They should've sent a poet!
Most cars are made from materials similar to plastic or plastic itself. Forza Motorsport is a built as a perfect track day game so all cars are built to look like they've been given the perfect wax.
For instance check out the linked picture below.
They invented this thing called Photoshop.
Looks fake as fuck, is this website just trying to get hits?
Because your "OPINION" counts as a fact.....
Actually the feature count can be argued as both GT5 and Forza 4 have unique features.
Really this needed to be a article? WTF?!
Can't believe it even got 120 degrees!
Dude seriously fucking stop this shit, you're making us real Forza fans look bad.
Turn Up Your Sound!
You will not regret it!
@grzajabarkus
They helped create the cars display whoop dee do...
It's not like they helped designed the Chassis or Engine..
Forza has quite a huge racing community and the online features in Forza 4 are much better than what is currently offered in GT5(you have to remember this is the 4th Forza game with online and GT5 is the first Gran Turismo).
As far as which one you should buy I would say go with Forza 4 and pick up GT5 later on as Forza 4 is just coming out now.
I also have a crap load of friends who have not only bought consoles for Forza but spent $1000 extra on a wheel setup just for the game or even as far as triple screen setups($3500+) the same goes for GT5. It doesn't prove anything other than racing gamers are some of the most dedicated to their genre.
Not as deep? You might want to look at their games and community again and while you're at it look what they did with Top Gear compared to GT5.
For one it's a advertisement so just get over it, that is how companies advertise like they are the only ones. It's not like they are trying to advertise their competitors you don't see Forza in a GT5 commercial do you?
Uhhh yeah you might want to take a look at the Forza 4 car list again, you're dead wrong.
@kaveti6616
So it's more realistic to have less things in common in real life than more?
also like I already said it's way easy to be realistic to certain cars even more so race cars than the amount and type of cars in Forza and GT.
You mean community made cars? Cars that most likely cannot be realistic as they were not built off of actual experience of the car itself?
Upgrades are a big part of Sim because guess what YOU CAN UPGRADE CARS IN REAL LIFE?!
BTW look up the definition of a simulation.
On a side note most of those cars were most likely no dynoed for sound or have anyway near the graphical fidelity of Forza 4.
Why in the hell are you comparing it to Forza 3 when Forza 4 comes out in a week?!
You do realize that those games can afford to be that realistic because they only simulate a few cars with no upgrades whatsoever. If either of them tried to have 500-1000 cars with a full upgrade system they wouldn't be as realistic as they are.
So in reality going around boasting is pretty stupid as everyone knows how unlikely it would be to get a game like GT5 or Forza 4 to be as realistic as a game with 1-10% of the cars in comparison.
This is a combination between slowing Kinect sales(reaching market saturation), market saturation of the Xbox 360, increased reliability of the console, a smaller exclusive game lineup and the fact that we might see a new generation of consoles soon. Although external factors will also include the climbing unemployment rate and a dwindling economy.
