But atleast this is actually worth the money, unlike xbl.
@1.2: Wow, your not just paying for CGC, your getting a ton of other stuff with it. Is that the only thing that goes through your head? That CGC is included with the Premium PSN? It only makes sense that you have to pay, microsoft does that too, but atleast PSN will let you play online for free. This is from a bussiness stand point, a very good thing for sony and for its fan base, it gives existing and new owners a choice, but still allowing for people to enjoy playing online no matter what. ...
Yeah, but still theres still that possibilty that it can happen, its happened to me, so an extra three years is nice.
Where did you hear that from? Sonys not going to cut off their fan base, you'll still get plenty of updates, just not everything.
If Sony goes through with this, than i dont see how microsoft would still stick with what it has, and who would honestly still pay that much for XBL, when the PS3 had all of that for only 20 bucks more.
Exactly, but people still cant get it through there heads about Cross-Game Chat... Microsoft makes you pay for it too, but atleast the PS3 lets its fan base have the ability to play online still, not forcing them to pay, if they dont want to.
well of course not, but im sure sonys planning something close to this, otherwise there would be no point in mentioning it.
You never know, they've given us FREE online since day one and an amazing line-up of first party games.
Even so, thats still would be worth the 70 dollars
Now heres someone logical to get past the having to pay for CGC and see how amazing paying only 70 dollars a year is for all that.
70 dollars a year is a reasonable price, free ps1 games, free themes, free minis, extended 3 year warranty, discount on PSN store, cloud storage space for games and more, thats an amazing price for all of that, all of which aren't offered on XBL at all.
Theres 83 ps1 games that range from 4.99 and up on the US PSN store so far, 250 themes you MUST pay for (1.49 and up), and 25 minis that range from 2.99 and up. That alone is a total over 800 dollars!
Sony is giv...
Yes, but you have to remember, the 360 does the same thing, but atleast with this, you can still play online for FREE. The article states that as an idea to get more sales, the way sony put it, you wouldn't have that option, so talking to two people cross game chat, would be better than none at all...
@ZombieAutopsy: If you didn't read the survey, it did say a discount on the PSN store, along with free ps1 games, free ps themes and free ps minis...
@Marceles: If you didn't read the survey, it did say a discount on the PSN store, along with free ps1 games, free ps themes and free ps minis...
If you read my blog, currently prending, you would see why it cost so much, but even so, its defiantly worth the price. I know you'd rather have cross-game chat free, but you should come to expect some things aren't free, its just like microsoft, it costs money to CGC, but atleast on PSN, even if you dont pay, you can still play online for FREE.

I didnt actually know anyone really cared about AvsP...
I was looking on IGN and it said Alan Wake was releasing in Q2, thats what i went by...
Wow...
Must say this is very inspiring to me.
Yeah it kinda is, but i didnt really find it fit to review it, since i havent even been able to touch the multiplayer and i needed to explain it so people understand why... I need to kind of stick to a main theme in my next blog post.
wow, that better be single player only though, otherwise it'll ruin the online
Uncharted 2 has 12 100's and halo 3 has 20 100's, Uncharted 2 is closing in =)
Im not pissed? Just dumbfounded as to why they would take the exploration part out of the series, thats why alot of people play RPGs in the first place...
