How is someone who buys their games new getting screwed over? The only ones who get screwed over are the people who don't. It's like buying a used 1989 car, sure most of the package is still there, but there's bits and parts you'll have to pay for to keep it going. Simple as that. If you can't afford it $60 dollars at launch, wait a few months before buying it, that way you save and still get the conent.
I highly doubt these passes are ever going to go away, so I don't see why people think it's going to do any good by boycotting it. All you have to do is buy it new. If you can't afford it new, then just wait until it gets cheaper and buy some other cheap games until then.
Love. Love. Lets go snowboarding on valentines day.
Eff that! Lets blow up some effing vehicles baby!
Sure, Uncharted and Killzone may have better than Resistance 3, but what makes Resistance 3 Stanford out is its amazing atmosphere. Atleast that's my personal opinion.
Doesn't happen on the PS3. I was downloading like 5 demos when I was playing it. Sucks that it's doing this on 360 though.
Same here and with update 1.1 coming for it this year, I must say that it is definitely the best 10 bucks I have ever spent on a game. I've put a 150+ hours in it already since buying it in August and I know it'll be much more once 1.1 comes out :)
I agree with you, while the story wasnt anything really even worth mentioning, the gameplay was what kept me going. I loved when the enemies were all up in my face and everything. The guns felt awesome as hell too. This, Resistance (1,3.. 2 was good, but less enjoyable to me then the others) and Crysis (1,2) are my favorite FPSs I've played. Definitely excited for Doom 4 and I've never played any of the others.
I think if a Harry Potter game was given enough development time and resources, gamers would be in for a real treat, instead they were rushed...
Yeah true. B:AC truly does look leeps and bound more amazing then B:AA is, but none the less, I think anyone even thinking about playing B:AC, should pick up the first one (its like $20 now im sure) and play that, not only to get the story, but to get a taste of what B:AC will offer in terms of an over all experience.
I'm so glad the wait is almost over! 5 days left and it'll consume me. Which reminds me, i'd better get another playthrough of B:AA in before it ...
Just have them play the B:AA demo and times that by 10 ;)
Exactly, you don't get to enjoy it that way.
Wait... What!? $15 for DLC that's not only coming less then 2 months after the games release, but was announced right around the games release.
That's exactly what I was hoping for, wish I could have just hid any information of BAC from N4G, but instead I feel like im going to enjoy it a little less. I went into BAA without any knowledge of almost everything, but with BAC, i know way too much and I didnt even try/want to know about it. It's totally going to ruin the mystery a bit, but BAC is still going to be an amazing title none the less.
Definitely won't be looking at any pending articles for the time being, had Gears 3 partly ruined because of that.
I too don't believe it needs it at all, but what made me a little more reassured is that a different Bioware studio is working on the co op, so the story shouldn't be dumbed down for it... I hope. I'll probably try it out none the less, just to see how it is.
Looks a lot better the before. Just makes me wonder if he put them in more as a haha to Bethesda because of the whole scrolls thing or because Terraria is getting then in the next update? Either way, no like it matters. Both Terraria and Minecraft have taken things from eachother anyways.
The same could also be said for BF3 and Rage, but even so, they all look awesome on consoles as well.
The thing is, even the official Rage Facebook page posted this on their wall, so its obviously legitimate
I'm not defending any site, but almost every site on the internets is looking for hits, to grow their revenue and become bigger, its just that they do it differently. Some use flamebait headlines, some use baseless rumors, others exclusive information and such. N4G is one of them. So, obviously they are, baseless or not.
@alien: Exactly! People are making a big deal out of this for nothing really.
